Custom Cherry Woodwork

Custom Cherry Woodwork

Long Valley, NJ

Home Remodeling in Morris County

The Owners of this historic, Morris County home contracted with us to renovate the interior of an addition built by former owners. This project included removing of pink tile floors and countertops from the foyer and Kitchen/Family Room, along with reallocating the spaces to create a more appropriate interior flow. Highly detailed cherry arches and paneling echo the cherry cornice, which contains the cove ceiling lighting. The stone arches allow people to clearly feel where they are passing from one point in history (the original stone house) into the next (the later addition by former owners). Custom made cherry built-ins and cornice grace the family room and kitchen. The informal dining nook is completely finished with cherry wood paneling and cornice work. The attached garage was renovated as a "Pub", using oak panels imported from a 300 year old pub in England. The floor is a radiant slab with limestone tile.
